Room: very clean. Two queen-size beds as requested, were very comfortable, with 3 pillows each and crisp white bedding. Large enough room, with good TV, mid-size fridge, Microwave oven, small coffee machine with coffee/tea facilities, ice bucket, iron and board as well as hairdryer in cupboard. Suitcase rack. Desk with armchair. Enough lights and special USB recharging ports (very important these days!) Small cupboard useful to hang 5-6 items. Fast heating/cooling system but with worn-out buttons. Housekeeping half-way through our 4-night stay. Bathroom: Newly renovated, nice white fluffy towels, facecloths. Good water pressure. Breakfast room: Buffet-style with new pancake machine, syrup, choice of 4 kinds of yoghurt in fridge, choice of breads, English muffins, cheese muffins, milk, cream, jams, peanut-butter, fresh fruit (bananas and yummy Gala apples), cold cereals, individual packets of hot cereals to make. Coffee + tea, orange juice. Parking: free outside our room.

This hotel worked well as a transit stop — it was clean and functional, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind, taking the time to offer us a room well-suited for our group of three. The breakfast was very minimal, even compared to other basic hotels we’ve stayed at in Canada. It seems to reflect the hotel’s purpose as a stopover spot rather than a destination for vacationers. The real highlight of our stay was the helpful and friendly check-in service.

We booked at short notice for one night and we were happy to find a fridge, TV, aircon, and coffee making equipment in our clean room. We could open a small window but chose to close it so we couldn't hear traffic noise and the occasional train noise. The bed was comfortable. It's only a 10 minute drive along Princess St to downtown Kingston and the lake from the hotel. Recommended!

There was no breakfast because of covid I had to pay for my dog and also deposit in cash they were suppose to put deposit back on my visa but it’s an Rbc right pay visa so have not gotten it I wanted one more night and pay with my deposit but would not allow it so I’m pussed cause I’m out 270 now and 150 for pop machine

The staff at reception (I think his name was Sept, my apologies if the spelling is not correct) was very friendly and helpful. He addressed our issue during with our booking and made our stay a pleasant memory. Rooms were cleaned and recently renovated, everything thoughtfully placed.
